Through grants, scholarships and financial-aid the NDIC and its members are working to insure that the work demands of the 21st century are met with a skilled and highly trained workforce. Diesel & Industrial Technology offers a challenging and rewarding career, that can begin with a relatively small investment of money and 24 months of curriculum.

Who Qualifies

The Applicant must be a senior in high school, a recent high school graduate, or have received his or her GED. The applicant must have a grade point average of at least 2.5 for the year immediately prior to application, or for his or her last completed year of school. The student also most be enrolling in a qualified NDIC Member School (see Education page for schools that qualify).

Scholarship Size

Scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded to a student entering or enrolled at any of NDIC participating colleges in the Diesel Service Technology Program. The scholarship is to be applied towards tuition, books and fees and will be reimbursed to the student upon showing a paid receipt.Deadline

The Scholarship application is to be postmarked no later than May 31st, 2008 to be qualified to recieve a 2008-2009 Scholarship.
